And if you click here and scroll down a bit, you can see his ’04 snowflake, “Edward Hopper Snowfake, an interpretive copy of Edward Hopper’s New York Corner, 1913 with extrapolated dendrites and snow.”

If you missed them, you can read yesterday’s features here. I learned something I didn’t know about illustration in one of yesterday’s features: In Jo Whittemore’s feature of Philomena O’Neill, Ms. O’Neill talks about how sometimes illustrators determine things such as page turns from a picture book text they’re given. I did not know that, and it’s one part of the writing and illustrating of a picture book I’ve always wondered about. See what fun facts you’ll gather from these Blogging for a Cure features? As someone very interested in illustration but not possessing a lick ‘o’ talent myself, I think this stuff is interesting.

Don’t forget this page where all the features are being compiled in one spot.

Here is today’s schedule:

Thursday, November 15, 2007:

Yangsook Choi, featured by Adrienne Furness at What Adrienne Thinks About That

Laura Jacques, featured by Cynthia Lord at cynthialord’s Journal

Mary Newell DePalma, featured by Elaine Magliaro at Wild Rose Reader

Leanne Franson, featured by “LindaBudz” at Just Like the Nut

Below is today’s Robert’s Snow schedule.
