That link is <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kirkusreviews.com\/blog\/childrens\/magic-good-import\/\">here<\/a><\/strong> this morning. <\/p>\n<p>If you missed last week&#8217;s column, I conducted a short Q &#038; A with illustrator <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/blaine.org\/sevenimpossiblethings\/?p=1508\">Amy June Bates<\/a><\/strong>, the Chair of the jury for the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.societyillustrators.org\/\">Society of Illustrator&#8217;s<\/a><\/strong> 2011 <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.societyillustrators.org\/The-Museum\/2011\/2011-Original-Art\/The-Original-Art-2011.aspx\">Original Art<\/a><\/strong> award. In October, closer to the opening of the Original Art exhibit, I&#8217;ll have an interview here at 7-Imp with <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rosalynschanzer.com\/\">Rosalyn Schanzer<\/a><\/strong>, who won the Gold this year for her book <em><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.indiebound.org\/book\/9781426308697\">Witches! The Absolutely True Tale of Disaster in Salem<\/a><\/strong><\/em> (National Geographic, September 2011). But for now, I open this post with one of the many illustrations she sent me for the interview, one moment from the book.
