This morning at Kirkus<\/em>, I write about two brand-new picture books (one from Groundwood Books and one from Albert Whitman & Company) about what one of the authors calls gender-nonconforming children — in both cases, these are about boys who, in particular, like to wear dresses. That link is here<\/a><\/strong>, and next week I’ll have art from each book. <\/p>\n
