I like the term \u2018lost and found line\u2019 as a description.\u201d<\/font><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><center>* * *<\/center><\/p>\n<p>Over at <em>Kirkus<\/em> today, I talk to author-illustrator <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/blaine.org\/sevenimpossiblethings\/?p=1790\">Matt Phelan<\/a><\/strong>, pictured here, about his 2014 projects, Burleigh Mut\u00e9n\u2019s <em>Miss Emily<\/em>, released back in March, and his own picture book, <em>Druthers<\/em>, coming in September. Both books are from Candlewick. <\/p>\n<p>Matt&#8217;s response to the what&#8217;s-next question may or may not have made me squeal.
