1)<\/strong><\/font> I got to Skype in yesterday to The Book Beat’s<\/a><\/strong> special book launch (in Oak Park, Michigan) for the late Peter D. Sieruta, one of my co-authors on Wild Things<\/em>. Here’s a photo, courtesy of Rhonda Gowler Greene on Twitter, of Betsy (who was there) talking to Video Me at the launch:

\n2)<\/strong><\/font> Snowpiercer<\/a><\/strong><\/em>! WHOA. It is very good. <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

3)<\/strong><\/font> The Giver<\/em> wasn’t half-bad either. It was interesting to see so soon after having read it to my girls. <\/p>\n

4)<\/strong><\/font> Speaking of, my girls and I are reading some good novels again. (We had a dry spell for a while there.)<\/p>\n

5)<\/strong><\/font> I love this idea, this book, and this smart, smart teacher<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n

6)<\/strong><\/font> Educating my girls in the way of The Beatles. <\/p>\n

7)<\/strong><\/font> Wild Things<\/em> got a starred Booklist<\/em> review (though it’s not published yet). That was so lovely to see. <\/p>\n
