Groenink, as I mentioned in the column last week, is from the Netherlands but now lives in New York. I highly recommend exploring the art at <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.chuckgroenink.com\/\">his site<\/a><\/strong> or even <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/chuckgroenink.tumblr.com\/\">his tumblr<\/a><\/strong>. If you subscribe to the <em>Horn Book<\/em>, you&#8217;ll recognize him from the cover art of <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/groeneinkt.tumblr.com\/post\/103581381818\/one-of-my-illustrations-for-santa-clauses-by-bob\">the current issue<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m tellin&#8217; you what. We see lots of new holiday picture books every year, many easily forgettable, but I really like this one. I&#8217;d love to see a 2015 7-Imp interview with Groenink so that we can see way more art from him.
