A distinguished author, responsible for such books as <em>Rickshaw Girl<\/em>, <em>Bamboo People<\/em>, <em>Secret Keeper<\/em>, and this April&#8217;s <em>Tiger Boy<\/em>, Mitali has maintained her blog, <strong><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mitaliblog.com\/\">Mitali&#8217;s Fire Escape<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, since 2005, where she discusses books between cultures. You may also find her on <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/AuthorMitaliPerkins\">Facebook<\/a><\/strong> or <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/mitaliperkins\">Twitter<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/minhlebooks.com\/\">Minh L\u00ea<\/a><\/strong> also joins us. We&#8217;ve been impressed by and big fans of his work for years now. Not only has he been blogging for <em><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/bookriot.com\/author\/minhle\/\">Book Riot<\/a><\/strong><\/em>, the <em><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.com\/minhle\/\">Huffington Post<\/a><\/strong><\/em>, and <em><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bottomshelfbooks.com\/\">Bottom Shelf Books<\/a><\/strong><\/em>, but he recently sold his debut picture book, <em><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/minhlebooks.com\/let-me-finish\/\">Let Me Finish!<\/a><\/strong><\/em>, to Disney-Hyperion. You can also find him on <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/bottomshelfbks\">Twitter<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>For those of you not familiar with The Niblings: We are a blog consortium, created almost two years ago this month, over at Facbeook and Twitter. It represents <em>Seven Impossible Things Before Breakfast<\/em> (Yours Truly), <em>A Fuse #8 Production<\/em> (Betsy Bird), <em>Nine Kinds of Pie<\/em> (Philip Nel), and <em>100 Scope Notes<\/em> (Travis Jonker). <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/TheNiblings\">Our Facebook page<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TheNiblings4\">Twitter presence<\/a><\/strong> are our spaces for sharing in one spot links from our blogs and other writings, as well as for sharing other interesting links\/news related to the field of children\u2019s literature. We hope that it&#8217;s a sort of one-stop resource center for information on children\u2019s literature.
