\nLast week, I talked over at Kirkus<\/em><\/a><\/strong> with Carson Ellis<\/a><\/strong> about the first picture book she’s both written and illustrated, Home<\/em> (Candlewick, February 2015). <\/p>\n

Today I’m following up with some sketches and art from the book. I thank Carson for sharing. And I highly recommend reading this Q&A<\/a><\/strong> over at the wonderful Picturebook Makers<\/em> too, which has even more art. <\/p>\n
