1)<\/strong><\/font> I traveled again this week, this time for work. And the best kick of all is that, since I was in her neck of the woods, I got to meet up with the kicker you all know and love so well, Moira Swiatkowski<\/a><\/strong>. I’m so glad she was willing to travel to Boston to meet me. <\/p>\n

2)<\/strong><\/font> In fact, we ended up meeting up at Boston’s Kidlit Drink Night, where I got to meet a lot of nice people — and I got to see one of the editors at Candlewick who worked on Wild Things!<\/em><\/p>\n

3)<\/strong><\/font> It was lovely to see my co-workers in Concord, Mass. We all work virtually from our respective homes, so to see all of them in person once a year is always fun. <\/p>\n

4)<\/strong><\/font> It was even better to come home to my family. <\/p>\n

5)<\/strong><\/font> Though it was cold and sleeting in Boston, it’s most definitely Spring in Tennessee. <\/p>\n

6)<\/strong><\/font> NPR has a First Listen for both Villagers’ new CD<\/a><\/strong>, as well as Lowland Hum’s<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n

7)<\/strong><\/font> Have I mentioned how brilliant Laura Marling’s<\/a><\/strong> new CD is? (I may very well have. If I’m being redundant, sorry! Big fan here.) One of her best (and most accessible) yet.
