Last week I wrote (here<\/a><\/strong>) about four new picture books — Sara Pennypacker’s<\/a><\/strong> Meet the Dullards<\/em>, illustrated by Daniel Salmieri<\/a><\/strong> (Balzer & Bray, March 2015); Mac Barnett’s<\/a><\/strong> The Skunk<\/em>, illustrated by Patrick McDonnell<\/a><\/strong> (Roaring Brook, April 2015); Charlotte Voake’s<\/a><\/strong> Melissa’s Octopus and Other Unsuitable Pets<\/em> (Candlewick, April 2015); and B\u00e9n\u00e9dicte Guettier’s<\/a><\/strong> I am the Wolf … And Here I Come!<\/em> (Gecko Press, January 2015). Today, I follow up with art from each book. (Note: Sorry about the lines in the art from Guettier. Those lines indicate the gutter of the book.)<\/p>\n
