\nToday over at Kirkus<\/em>, I’ve got Valentine’s Day on the mind. That is here<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Last week, I wrote here<\/a><\/strong> about some recent and upcoming picture book reissues — Roger Duvoisin’s<\/a><\/strong> Donkey-Donkey<\/em>, three books by Jeanne<\/a><\/strong> and William Steig<\/a><\/strong>, and The Happy Egg<\/em> by Ruth Krauss<\/a><\/strong> and Crockett Johnson<\/a><\/strong>. I’m following up today with art from each book.<\/p>\n

[Please note: Some of the colors are slightly<\/em> brighter in some of the art below. In the case of The Happy Egg<\/em>, the yellow is significantly brighter than it appears in the book. Computers. What can you do?]<\/p>\n
