\nToday over at Kirkus<\/em>, I take a look at the first book in a new picture book series of sorts from author Sara O’Leary<\/a><\/strong> and illustrator Karen Klassen<\/a><\/strong>. That is here<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Last week, I wrote here<\/a><\/strong> about my love for Roxane Orgill’s<\/a><\/strong> Jazz Day: The Making of a Famous Photograph<\/em>, illustrated by Francis Vallejo (Candlewick, March 2016). I’m following up today here at 7-Imp with a couple of spreads from the book. <\/p>\n

I highly recommend spending time at Francis’s site<\/a><\/strong>. There’s more art there. <\/p>\n
