\nI’ve got a review over at BookPage<\/em> of Chris Hadfield’s<\/a><\/strong> The Darkest Dark<\/em> (Little, Brown, September 2016)), illustrated by The Fan Brothers<\/a><\/strong>. That review is here<\/a><\/strong>, and I’ve got a couple of spreads from it to share here at 7-Imp today. <\/p>\n

2)<\/strong><\/font> The 2016 Kirkus Prize finalists<\/a><\/strong>. Such a good group, especially in the category of Young Readers’ Literature.<\/p>\n

3)<\/strong><\/font> I’m not terribly familiar with their music but really enjoyed this interview<\/a><\/strong> with The Handsome Family. <\/p>\n

4)<\/strong><\/font> This<\/a><\/strong> has all kinds of good, new music in it and …<\/p>\n

5)<\/strong><\/font> It made me want to up and buy John Paul White’s<\/a><\/strong> new album, which I did, and it is good. <\/p>\n

6)<\/strong><\/font> News that Sam Phillips<\/a><\/strong> is working on a new album. <\/p>\n

7)<\/strong><\/font> Tonight, Parnassus Books will kick off its piggy bank auction to raise money for my friend with cancer and for the Book Industry Charitable Foundation, or BINC, which helps booksellers in need. A local news channel did a story about it: <\/p>\n
