Last week, I wrote here<\/a><\/strong> about some brand-new picture books about refugees — Somos como las nubes \/ We Are Like the Clouds<\/em> (Groundwood, October 2016), written by Jorge Argueta<\/a><\/strong> and illustrated by Alfonso Ruano; Rebecca Young\u2019s<\/a><\/strong> Teacup<\/em> (Dial, October 2016), illustrated by Matt Ottley<\/a><\/strong>; Constance \u00d8rbeck-Nilssen\u2019s Why Am I Here?<\/em>, illustrated by Akin Duzakin<\/a><\/strong> (Eerdmans, October 2016); and Margriet Ruurs\u2019<\/a><\/strong> Stepping Stones: A Refugee Family\u2019s Journey<\/em>, illustrated by Nizar Ali Badr<\/a><\/strong> (Orca, October 2016). <\/p>\n
