\nThis morning over at Kirkus<\/em>, I’ve got three new picture books that make me wish I could snap my fingers and be in an elementary language arts classroom right about now<\/em>. That is here<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Last week, I wrote here<\/a><\/strong> about the third book in John Lewis’s<\/a><\/strong> and Andrew Aydin’s<\/a><\/strong> March<\/em> trilogy (Top Shelf Productions), released last year and illustrated by Nate Powell<\/a><\/strong>; Carmen Agra Deedy’s<\/a><\/strong> The Rooster Who Would Not Be Quiet!<\/em> (Scholastic, January 2017), illustrated by Eugene Yelchin<\/a><\/strong>; and Shana Corey’s<\/a><\/strong> A Time to Act: John F. Kennedy’s Big Speech<\/em>, illustrated by R. Gregory Christie<\/a><\/strong> and coming to shelves from NorthSouth Books in April. <\/p>\n

Today, I’ve got art from all three<\/em> books in the March trilogy, as well as art from Yelchin and Christie. <\/p>\n
