1)<\/strong><\/font> Heading to Michigan this week to talk about picture books for the Children’s Literacy Network<\/a><\/strong>. I’m excited to meet folks. Also, I definitely knew<\/em> I wanted to go when the person who asked me said, \u201cChildren\u2019s books require art that speaks to their inner artist and gives their mind a window or a secret trap door from commercial bombardment and the drudgery of text books.\u201d <\/p>\n

2)<\/strong><\/font> Sending, sharing books. Hoping they are loved. <\/p>\n

3)<\/strong><\/font> Reading Fahrenheit 451<\/em> to my girls. <\/p>\n

4)<\/strong><\/font> This voice<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n

5)<\/strong><\/font> My Obama print<\/a><\/strong> arrived! Thank you, Matt, for doing this. He’s donating all proceeds to the ACLU. <\/p>\n

6)<\/strong><\/font> New music from Lowland Hum<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

7)<\/strong><\/font> A new place to gather and eat. <\/p>\n
