\nYou kickers may remember me featuring a book back in February, called If I Had a Little Dream<\/em> (Paula Wiseman Books). It was written by Nina Laden<\/a><\/strong>, and I featured some of Melissa Castrillon’s<\/a><\/strong> artwork from it—and linked to my BookPage<\/em> review of it—here<\/a><\/strong> at 7-Imp.<\/p>\n

When I was wondering which artwork to feature today, Mother’s Day, I thought of the last page of that picture book — and managed to get that illustration to share with you here. <\/p>\n

My kicks today, one to seven, are my daughters, who made me a mother (a recent pic from a trip to California is below), and all the people in my life who have mothered me. <\/p>\n
