Feather&#8217;s training had begun.&#8221;<\/em><\/center><br \/>\n<BR>&nbsp;<BR><br \/>\nThis morning over at <em>Kirkus<\/em>, I&#8217;ve got two Japanese imports and two sets of breasts. That is <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kirkusreviews.com\/features\/best-breast\/\">here<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p><center>* * *<\/center><\/p>\n<p>Last week, I wrote <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kirkusreviews.com\/features\/ring-paulina\/\">here<\/a><\/strong> about <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/remicourgeon.blogspot.com\/\">R\u00e9mi Courgeon&#8217;s<\/a><\/strong> <em>Feather<\/em> (Enchanted Lion, September 2017), originally published in 2012. I&#8217;m following up with some art from the book today. He worked ten hours every night, rain or shine.<br \/>Back in Russia, he had been a miner. He always had dark circles under his eyes.<br \/>He said it was coal dust. But Feather could see how tired he really was.&#8221;<\/em><\/center><br \/>\n<BR>&nbsp;<BR><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/blaine.org\/7pics\/2017\/08\/FEATHER BROTHERSsmall.jpg\"><br \/>\n<center><em>&#8220;Though the only girl in this family of boys, Feather was far from spoiled. They fought each other to decide who would do the chores and Feather usually lost.
