\nI’ve a review over at BookPage<\/em> of Christine Rousssey’s<\/a><\/strong> My Lazy Cat<\/em> (Abrams, November 2017). This one is a French import, originally published in 2016. <\/p>\n

1)<\/strong><\/font> Congressman John Lewis. Always. But especially for this<\/a><\/strong> from this week. <\/p>\n

2)<\/strong><\/font> The oldest daughter’s smile. (She got her braces off this week.) <\/p>\n

3)<\/strong><\/font> The whole family is going tonight (I’m typing this on Saturday) to see Andrew Bird<\/a><\/strong> live on his Gezelligheid tour. It will be in a beautiful church in downtown Nashville, and Bird describes the show as “the pursuit of those things which get us through the darkness.” I just read Joan Shelley<\/a><\/strong> will be there, too, whose music I love. Here is Andrew in a video I saw earlier this week at NPR:
