\nToday over at Kirkus<\/em>, I write about three new picture books featuring some remarkably talented and fearless women. <\/p>\n

Last week, I wrote here<\/a><\/strong> about Stephanie Graegin\u2019s<\/a><\/strong> Little Fox in the Forest<\/em> (Schwartz & Wade, February 2017); Anushka Ravishankar\u2019s<\/a><\/strong> Hic!<\/em> (Tara, September 2017), illustrated by Christiane Pieper<\/a><\/strong>; Steve Jenkins’<\/a><\/strong> and Robin Page’s<\/a><\/strong> Who Am I?: An Animal Guessing Game<\/em> (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, November 2017); Andrea Tsurumi’s<\/a><\/strong> Accident!<\/em> (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, October 2017); Cao Wenxuan’s<\/a><\/strong> Feather<\/em> (Elsewhere Editions, September 2017), illustrated by Roger Mello<\/a><\/strong>; and The Purloining of Prince Oleomargarine<\/em> (Random House, September 2017), written by Mark Twain and Philip Stead<\/a><\/strong> and illustrated by Erin Stead<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n

I’ve got art today from each book \u2014 and, in some cases, some early sketches, etc. \u2014 but I’ll have a separate post later about the Twain\/Stead book. More on that soon. <\/p>\n

but she still didn’t stop asking, ‘Am I yours? Am I yours?'”<\/em>
