\nLast week, I wrote here<\/a><\/strong> at Kirkus<\/em>, in anticipation of Mother’s Day this Sunday, about Jamilah Thompkins-Bigelow’s<\/a><\/strong> Mommy’s Khimar<\/em> (Salaam Reads, April 2018), illustrated by Ebony Glenn<\/a><\/strong>, and Kate Hosford’s<\/a><\/strong> Mama’s Belly<\/em> (Abrams, April 2018), illustrated by Abigail Halpin<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n
