New kickers are always welcome.<\/p>\n 1)<\/strong><\/font> It’s almost school’s-out for my girls. <\/p>\n 2)<\/strong><\/font> A good (if very hot) day at Tennessee’s RenFest. <\/p>\n 3)<\/strong><\/font> I didn’t watch the royal wedding, but I read about it \u2014 and it was super kick’y and groundbreaking, it seems, in all kinds of wonderful ways.<\/p>\n 4)<\/strong><\/font> This kick is a couple of weeks old, but: Childish Gambino. <\/p>\n 5)<\/strong><\/font> A blast from the past in the mail. <\/p>\n 6)<\/strong><\/font> Speaking to a big group of elementary students about picture books. <\/p>\n 7)<\/strong><\/font> Work has been unusually busy, but the kick is that I’m managing to get (nearly) almost everything else done.
