Right now, at the darkest time of the year, is the most crazy mashup of tradition and transition and I love that the beautiful little deer plays such a big part in it. Why not sensitive and delicate, moving slowly through the trees? Why not that be where we are going?<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

<\/center><\/p>\n1)<\/strong><\/font> A lovely meal earlier this week with friends, as well as my book club last week. At book club, we read aloud our favorite excerpts from Jonathan Auxier’s Sweep<\/em><\/strong><\/a> and had a little partaaaay. It was pretty much the best. <\/p>\n
2)<\/strong><\/font> I am really enjoying this book (pictured left). <\/p>\n
3)<\/strong><\/font> I loooove this story<\/a><\/strong>, and I wish Stephanie the very best of luck with her two new picture books! <\/p>\n
4)<\/strong><\/font> I am also enjoying Forma Antiqva’s<\/a><\/strong> new album, Concerto Zapico Vol. 2<\/em>. Here’s<\/a><\/strong> a taste. <\/p>\n
5)<\/strong><\/font> Surprising the girls by taking them to the new Mewsic Kitty Cafe<\/a><\/strong> where we got to have hot chocolate and Christmas snacks and, best of all, pet cats for an hour. <\/p>\n
6)<\/strong><\/font> The holiday lights at Cheekwood<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n
