She shared it on Instagram, and I secured her permission to share it here. Below is what she wrote about it: <\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>Right now, at the darkest time of the year, is the most crazy mashup of tradition and transition and I love that the beautiful little deer plays such a big part in it. Why not sensitive and delicate, moving slowly through the trees? Why not that be where we are going?<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Yes yes yessity yes. At book club, we read aloud our favorite excerpts from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kirkusreviews.com\/features\/swept-away-nans-story\/\"><strong>Jonathan Auxier&#8217;s <em>Sweep<\/em><\/strong><\/a> and had a little partaaaay. It was pretty much the best. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/blaine.org\/7pics\/2018\/12\/sageofnoise.jpg\"><font size=4><strong>2)<\/strong><\/font> I am really enjoying this book (pictured left). <\/p>\n<p><font size=4><strong>3)<\/strong><\/font> I loooove <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.grubreport.com\/alacarte\/story.html\">this story<\/a><\/strong>, and I wish Stephanie the very best of luck with her two new picture books! <\/p>\n<p><font size=4><strong>4)<\/strong><\/font> I am also enjoying <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.formaantiqva.com\/2016\/\">Forma Antiqva&#8217;s<\/a><\/strong> new album, <em>Concerto Zapico Vol. 2<\/em>. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Q3WHgWgQG_4\">Here&#8217;s<\/a><\/strong> a taste. <\/p>\n<p><font size=4><strong>5)<\/strong><\/font> Surprising the girls by taking them to the new <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mewsickittycafe.com\/\">Mewsic Kitty Cafe<\/a><\/strong> where we got to have hot chocolate and Christmas snacks and, best of all, pet cats for an hour. <\/p>\n<p><font size=4><strong>6)<\/strong><\/font> The holiday lights at <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cheekwood.org\/\">Cheekwood<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p><font size=4><strong>7)<\/strong><\/font> A friend sent me <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2018\/12\/21\/style\/glitter-factory.html\">this <em>NYT<\/em> story<\/a><\/strong> on glitter, and it is a HOOT. All the secrecy.
