\nEarlier this week over at the Horn Book’s<\/em> Calling Caldecott, we featured a Q&A with Caldecott Medalist Michaela Goade<\/a><\/strong> and asked her what her year has been like. Micheala won the 2021 Medal for We Are Water Protectors<\/a><\/strong><\/em>, written by Carole Lindstrom<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n

6)<\/strong><\/font> Hearing that this boy<\/a><\/strong> (wow, that story made it all the way to the UK), who goes to my daughters’ school, received applause in the cafeteria the next day. <\/p>\n

7)<\/strong><\/font> Supporting the ACLU the Julie Paschkis way<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n
