Dolls That Drive Trucks

I’ve a review over at BookPage of Ann Stott’s Want to Play Trucks? (Candlewick, August 2018), illustrated by Bob Graham. It’s a picture book about the dynamics — and compromises — of sandbox-play.

That is here. And today here at 7-Imp I’ve got a bit of art from the book.

Enjoy!

One comment to “Dolls That Drive Trucks”

  1. Ah, the art of the compromise. I love this concept. Also, there really are a lot of boys-play-with-dolls books now… but when I was babysitting a little boy who did, people acted like he honestly was the only boy in the world who did. That was… weird. I never knew what to say.

Adult me looks back and glowers at all of the people with commentary.
