Here’s a snowy holiday image from author-illustrator Tim Miller. I always love to see his work.

I hope all of you reading this had a happy holiday, however you celebrate it!

4) Eisha’s in town!

5) That part in the television adaptation of Raymond Briggs’s The Snowman where the Snowman leads the boy outside and is pulling him into the air and the strings build and build.

6) Paul McCartney’s The Lyrics.

7) What Matt Tavares said. (Read more here.)

  1. Tim Miller’s illustration matches our day.
Jules, the shoes article was wonderful. Say hello to Eisha for me. And those lyrics, how special.
    My kicks:
    1. Snow!
    2. A morning with the fire in the fireplace.

    4. Grand girl and I created little birds with cardboard and collage.
    5. A folk art bookcase that Santa found on Next-door.
    6. Meeting friends for coffee.

  3. Happy merry everything imps!

What a fun winter image, especially as we’ve had a light snow here in Portland overnight, with the possibility of more to come.

Jules – what a wonderful present! Yay for Eisha being in town, holiday lights and downtime!

Hi Little Willow! Hope you’re having a wonderful holiday!

    2) Having a couple friends over throughout the day for snacks and food and movie watching.
    3) Cheese boards!

7.5) Time on the sofa with Daisy.

Wishing everyone a relaxing final week of 2021!

  4. Happy holidays, Little Willow!

Rachel, I had wanted to rewatch that trilogy for the holidays, but my daughters recently rewatched it together, so we’ll probably wait a while. What good movies. What else did you watch? Tonight is the LAST episode of Insecure! I may not see it till tomorrow, and I’m sad to see it go. Hello to Daisy!

  5. How bizarre! I posted this morning but it’s not here. Weird.

I loved the image and so appropriate for today as we woke to a smattering of snow.
Jules, loved all the kicks. Say hi to Eisha and aren’t the Carle shoes cool.
Little Willow, hope you have a wonderful wee.
Rachel, friend, joy, and gingerbread for breakfast. Yay.
My kicks the Reader’s Digest version: snow, youngest grand girl here. Making art with the grand and visiting family and friends.

  6. Jone, so sorry about that. This comment, for some reason, asked for my approval. Go figure. I’ll try to find your older one in just a sec …

  7. Now it’s up there, Jone. I had to approve that too. WEIRD. I will keep a closer eye on this every Sunday.

Have fun with the grands! And enjoy the SNOW.
