7-Imp’s 7 Kicks #494: Featuring Serge Bloch
July 31st, 2016 by jules
I’ve got a review over at BookPage of Ian Lendler’s Saturday (Neal Porter Books/Roaring Brook, July 2016), illustrated by Serge Bloch. That review is here. Below are some spreads from the book; I always like to see Serge’s art.

Note for any new readers: 7-Imp’s 7 Kicks is a weekly meeting ground for taking some time to reflect on Seven(ish) Exceptionally Fabulous, Beautiful, Interesting, Hilarious, or Otherwise Positive Noteworthy Things from the past week, whether book-related or not, that happened to you. New kickers are always welcome.
This is it! Moving weekend, that is. I am typing this earlier in the week, but it’s possible my computer won’t even be connected today (that is, Sunday — the day you read this). I will be able, however, to read your kicks via my phone, so …
What are YOUR kicks this week?

Have a wonderful week everyone!
by Rachel July 31st, 2016 at 11:46 amI’m here, though every. muscle. in. my. body. aches. But at least everything we own is in ONE place now.
Little Willow: There’s a nice alliteration to your kicks there.
Jone: It sounds lovely at Camp Odell.
Rachel: Your trip sounds fun too. Did you enjoy Stranger Things?
Going to collapse into bed now.
